It is already February and I am just now getting to my New Year Goals for my business. I kind of feel like a slacker, but January came and went in a blink of an eye. Now that the boudoir marathon is done and I am working on final edits, I can think about my goals for 2021. I think there is something about voicing your goals and documenting them. I think this process makes you more accountable and helps create a roadmap on how to accomplish them.

So to start the year off a little late, here are my goals for 2021:

Have 50 sessions this year.

This was a goal that I had for 2020 but pandemic did not help. I think it is still a good goal to push myself to stay on top of social media marketing.

Start blogging & post once a week.

I think I have been pretty good about this goal so far. Aside from maybe last week, I was able to write and post a blog post every week since Christmas. I enjoy writing and I hope at least one person enjoys reading this.

Start Whisking The Day Away Blog.

So this has been a passion project of mine and a friend’s. We both love food and baking and want to start a blog. I love food/product photography as well so I think this is a great way to start that and I can't wait to show everyone it once it is ready to go.

Get two clients from Instagram.

I would say that I get most, if not all, of my client’s through Facebook. This goal ties into the first one as I want to build my brand and presence on Instagram.

Start sending thank-you cards more often.

I don’t know about you, but I love getting mail from people. Not bills or coupon mailers that you say that you will use but you never will, but actual letters and postcards. I think it has a personal touch and is more thoughtful than an email. So I want to start sending  out more thank you cards. Because I am excited to get the chance to work with you.
